„Kur liko garsas" — an original musical-theatre work created by Justinas Stanislovaitis: songs, story and staged sound.
A story told the way a song is told — with music carrying the weight.
„Kur liko garsas" (Where Did the Sound Go?) is an original musical-theatre work written and composed by Justinas Stanislovaitis. On stage it is performed by three performers and builds its world from live music, storytelling, light and projected image.
A five-song EP drawn from the work — in Lithuanian and English — is in preparation. The songs also live on their own in Justinas' concert repertoire, carrying the work's themes into rooms far smaller than a theatre.
The full production is intended for technically capable stages — theatres, cultural centres and festivals with sound, lighting and projection infrastructure. Where a full staging is not practical, the songs from the work can be performed within a concert format — solo, duo or trio.
