Intimate concert halls, cultural venues, galleries and listening rooms in Tokyo are prospective settings for this programme. “Between Silence and Light” is written for exactly that audience: a literary acoustic programme in the lineage of Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Peter Gabriel and Sting, alongside original work.
Format scales naturally to the room: solo (voice and guitar) or duo with brushed percussion, 75–90 minutes seated, or shorter sets for a reception. The repertoire and pacing are shaped to each venue.
