About the concert
Between Silence and Light
At the close of the year, when silence deepens in the December darkness and every light shines brighter, Lithuanian singer-songwriter Justinas Stanislovaitis brings his intimate acoustic concert “Between Silence and Light” to Riga.
It is an evening of creativity and dreams, of reflection and depth.
The programme brings together Justinas's original songs and his distinctive interpretations of songs by Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Sting and Peter Gabriel. Two musicians share the stage: Justinas Stanislovaitis (voice and acoustic guitar) and Martynas Vaičekauskas (accordion, keyboards and lumzdelis – a Lithuanian folk flute).
The concert takes place on 29 December 2026 at the Collegium Musicum Riga concert hall (Vaļņu iela 9-3, Riga). Doors open at 18:30 and the concert begins at 19:00. It runs for about 60 minutes without an interval. Seating is unreserved.
The day before, on 28 December, the programme is performed in Vilnius – see the Vilnius concert.
Songs by other writers are performed in Justinas's own interpretations; the concert is not affiliated with or endorsed by those artists.
